Redgie gives a thumbs up beside the words RateDrop memberships are live.

If you’ve watched my hotel tours, you’ll know I love finding a great stay. I also know that booking it is only part of the story: a flexible rate can change between the day you book and the day you arrive.

That’s why I created RateDrop, and today I’m excited to share an update to its membership. From 1 November 2026, there’s a free Silver starting point and more than one way to reach a higher RateDrop tier. Here’s what that means in practice.

First, what does RateDrop do?

RateDrop is an independent service, separate from Accor and ALL. It monitors eligible flexible Accor bookings for comparable rates and helps manage a suitable replacement when the booking conditions allow. The goal is to make it easier to keep an eye on a booking after you’ve made it, without having to keep checking it yourself.

A lower rate isn’t guaranteed, and neither is a rebooking. Room type, dates, occupancy, total price, inclusions and cancellation and payment conditions all matter when comparing options. See how RateDrop works.

Free Silver is the starting point

Complete and save your profile to unlock free Silver. A complete, active profile is needed for member services. Silver includes weekly checks, unlimited eligible bookings and unlimited eligible RateDrops: the membership update doesn’t turn the targets below into a cap on the number of bookings you can add.

If you already have an account, sign in and check your profile. If you’re new, you can start with RateDrop.

Three ways to move up

You can reach a higher RateDrop tier through eligible confirmed booking count, eligible booking value, or by choosing a paid plan. These are alternative routes; you don’t need to satisfy all three.

On the booking-count route, the targets are 10 for Gold, 25 for Platinum and 50 for Diamond. Booking-value targets and paid-plan pricing depend on the applicable currency, so sign in and check the membership details and your targets for the figures relevant to you.

The tier names might look familiar, but RateDrop membership and ALL Accor status are separate. Earning one doesn’t automatically give you the other.

Which bookings count?

For this launch, eligible reservations first added from 1 November 2026 through 31 December 2027 can count once confirmed, subject to the earning rules. The season boundaries use Bangkok time (UTC+7). Searches and booking requests alone don’t earn credit. Bookings added before the launch keep their existing monitoring but don’t receive retroactive launch credit.

Earned status starts when you qualify and lasts through 31 December 2028, subject to the rules. Cancelling or deleting a booking can remove its credit and affect your status; an eligible RateDrop replacement preserves that credit. If you already have a paid subscription, earning a tier does not automatically cancel or change your billing. Check your existing plan and terms before making a decision.

What about Preferred Rates?

Alongside monitoring, RateDrop can help arrange Accor Preferred Rates at participating luxury and lifestyle properties. Offers and inclusions depend on the hotel, dates and selected rate, so check the actual offer and booking conditions for your stay. Explore Preferred Rates.

Where to start

If you have an eligible upcoming Accor booking, sign in, make sure your profile is complete and add it to RateDrop. If you’re planning a new stay, explore the membership details and decide whether the free option or a paid tier fits how you travel.
